Creativity has become increasingly important in the nursing profession for innovative approaches in clinical settings. This study investigated the relationship between nursing students' engagement with the arts and their creativity. The findings revealed significant positive correlations between engagement in the arts and creative personality traits, daily creative intrinsic motivation, and a growth mindset. Additionally, the study revealed that nursing students' engagement with the arts had a decisive effect on their creative personality traits and daily creative intrinsic motivation. The results also suggest that interest in the arts fosters creative traits such as risk-taking, self-confidence, and task-orientedness. The study found that students actively engaged in artistic activities scored significantly higher on creativity-related characteristics.
