Background: Although serum magnesium (Mg) levels have been linked to atherogenesis and cardiovascular disease in the general population, evidence regarding their association with clinical outcomes in patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI) is inconsistent. Aim: This study investigated the relationship between admission serum Mg levels and both in-hospital and long-term clinical outcomes in patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention.
