The interplay between family harmony (FH) and caregiving burden is critical to the well-being of both caregivers and care recipients. This study aims to examine the relationship between FH and caregiver burden among caregivers of children with primary immunodeficiency. This descriptive study was conducted in 2024 in Konya, Türkiye. The study population included caregivers of children. Data were collected from 72 caregivers using the FH Scale and the Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale. The mean FH score was 23.53. The mean caregiving burden score was 44.91, which falls within the moderate burden range. A significant difference in FH was observed between the treatment groups (intravenous and subcutaneous immunoglobulin) (p=0.047), whereas the caregiving burden showed no significant difference (p=0.207). Spearman's correlation analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between FH and caregiving burden (r=0.252, p=0.032). Caregiving for children with primary immunodeficiency presents unique challenges that impact both caregiver burden and FH. Home-based therapies appear to offer significant benefits in easing these challenges. Continued support from healthcare professionals, especially nurses, is essential in promoting caregiver well-being and maintaining strong family dynamics.
