Coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the most common cardiovascular diseases, is associated with high mortality in the population, and often presents atypically. At the same time, CAD often leads to arrhythmias, the timely diagnosis of which is necessary to adjust treatment and to prevent life-threatening arrhythmias. Holter electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring should be considered as one of the main and optimal methods aimed at detecting hidden changes in the heart muscle. We present two clinical cases that demonstrate the importance of Holter ECG monitoring in this patient category.
