Conduct disorders are a subset of psychological disorders that can have catastrophic repercussions and are difficult to treat. It is seen in children and adolescents and can have serious impacts ranging from criminal activity to suicidal ideation. Similarly, a delayed or missed diagnosis might have permanent repercussions. Since it is a disorder that, unless treated, can have a long-term impact on children, their families, and society, it is critical to work with both the family and the immediate environment during treatment.
