Climate change is a pressing reality that continues unabated due to environmentally harmful human activities and a lack of sufficient political will to address the issue. The consequences of climate change have lasting negative effects on all living beings and plant life on our planet. Vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, individuals with respiratory conditions, and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds with limited access to adequate healthcare, are likely to suffer the most. Climate change has far-reaching and serious impacts on the environment, agriculture, public health, social dynamics, and the economy of a region.
