Objective: This study was conducted to examine nurses' attitudes toward teamwork, their self-efficacy levels in pressure injury management, the effects of these variables on each other, and other factors affecting them. Methods: This descriptive and correlational study was conducted with nurses (n = 188) working in 4 private hospitals in Istanbul. Data were collected between January and May 2023. The data collection tools included a Structured Information Form, the Attitudes Toward Teamwork Scale, and the Pressure Injury Management Self-Efficacy Scale for Nurses. Results: Nurses demonstrated a high level of positive attitudes toward teamwork and a good level of self-efficacy in pressure injury management, exceeding the moderate level. A significant positive correlation was found between nurses' attitudes toward teamwork and their self-efficacy in pressure injury management (P = .000). Regression analysis revealed that multiple variables influenced nurses' effectiveness in preventing pressure injuries, with years of professional experience and participation in in-service training being statistically significant factors (P < .001). Conclusion: It is considered essential to ensure appropriate planning and resource allocation to allow nurses sufficient time for patient care, and to support them through in-service training focused on the prevention of pressure injuries.
