Nursing education plays a crucial role in preparing students -the future members of the profession -for their duties, responsibilities, and roles, as well as in fostering the development of their professional knowledge, attitudes, skills, and competencies, and in enabling them to acquire 21st-century skills. In this context, the aim of this review is to analyze studies on nursing education from the past to the present in terms of 21st-century skills and to evaluate their reflections on nursing education.
