A male patient who is 64 years old, admitted to the our outpatient clinics with complaints related to anemia. In his anamnesis ingestion of soya beans was present. The table of anemia was diagnosed as hemolytic anemia related to glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6PD) deficiency. This type of anemia usually causes symptomes at childhood. However with the detailed anamnesis we learned that this ingestion was the first time in his life.
