Objective: The aim of the study is to determine the knowledge level of health science students about the COVID-19 outbreak and to examine its impact on health behavior. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted with 345 students enrolled in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Health Services Vocational School of a university using an online questionnaire. Study data were collected using an online questionnaire between January-February 2021. The questionnaire form included questions about the demographic characteristics of the participants as well as the health knowledge level; It consists of 24 questions, including the effect on health behavior for the COVID-19 outbreak. In data analysis, number, percentage distributions, mean and standard deviation values were calculated with descriptive statistics tests. One-Way Anova test was used to compare the means within the group. Results: The average age of the students participating in the study is 21.65±3.35 and 79.7% of them are women. 74.21% of the participants did not have information about COVID-19 before 2019, 91.3% were worried about themselves or someone from their family catching COVID-19. It was determined that there is a statistically significant difference between health behaviors such as daily sleep and fluid intake before and after COVID-19 (p<0.001). Conclusion: As a result, the COVID-19 pandemic process has brought about changes in health science students’ knowledge and health behaviors. Since health sciences students have an important place in pandemic process management, it is recommended to make more studies on the subject and contribute to the literature.
