Immunization is one of the most important and cost-effective strategies in public health. It is estimated that vaccines prevent up to 3 million deaths worldwide each year. On the other hand, physicians may have hesitation about vaccinating children with chronic diseases. It is known that chronic diseases may increase the risk of infection or predispose to infection, or that serious complications may occur during infection. Health professionals need to make vaccination programs for special cases.
