Plummer-Vinson syndrome (PVS) is a rare syndrome characterized by dysphagia, iron deficiency anemia, and esophageal web. A brief review about PVS and an elderly female patient who admitted to our outpatient clinic with complaints of difficulty in swallowing solid and liquid foods, fatigue, nausea, vom- iting, and weight loss, diagnosed with PVS and underwent gastroscopic balloon dilatation is presented.
