This study aims to assess the risk of postpartum depression (PPD) and identify sociodemographic, psychiatric, and psychosocial factors that influence this risk. The PPD risk rate was found to be 19.8%. A significant relationship was found between PPD risk and individual psychiatric history, previous postpartum psychiatric problems, premenstrual emotional symptoms, low marital satisfaction, and insufficient social support.
