AIM: To examine the relationship between the reproductive health attitudes and psychological well-being levels of female patients with psychiatric diagnoses. METHODS: This research was conducted with a descriptive and relationship-seeking design and was completed with 193 female patients with psychiatric diagnoses. Data were collected using a personal information form, the Psychological Well-Being Scale, and the Scale for Determining the Reproductive Health Preventive Attitudes of Married Women. RESULTS: The women's Psychological Well-Being Scale total mean score was 36.50 +/- 11.74, and their Scale for Determining the Reproductive Health Preventive Attitudes of Married Women total mean score was 122.31 +/- 25.47. A moderate positive relationship was found between the Psychological Well-Being Scale total and the Scale for Determining the Reproductive Health Preventive Attitudes of Married Women total (r = 0.572; p < .001). CONCLUSION: The study findings revealed that the psychological well-being and reproductive health protective attitudes of the female patients who participated in this study were at a moderate level and that there was a significant relationship between their psychological well-being and reproductive health protective attitudes (p < .01). Psychosocial support programs should be organized to increase the psychological well-being of patients, and reproductive health training should be integrated into these intervention programs.
