Introduction and Aim : The aim of this cross-sectional study was to assess knowledge management implementation from the employees' perspectives using the Applied Knowledge Management Implementation Scale (AKMI). Material and Method: The data was obtained by employing a questionnaire including questions on sociodemographic characteristics of the subjects along with the Applied Knowledge Management Instrument (AKM) scale, which aims to assess knowledge management practices. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews and online Forms via Google. Results: A total of 195 participants (F/M: 161/34 Age:26.32+/-5.9) working at a private hospital in Istanbul, Turkey participated in the study. 52.3 % were healthcare professionals, while 47.7% were from the administrative staff. Cronbach's alpha for the AKMI scale was calculated to be 0.923. Conclusions and Recommendations: It was concluded that the AKMI scale is a measurement tool that can be applied to evaluate information management practices and its effectiveness thereby, contributing to the development of a management culture in hospitals, based on information with the aim to support management decisions, and enhance organizational performance.
