Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the mechanical and structural properties of titanium -reinforced platelet -rich fibrin (T -PRF) in healthy individuals and periodontitis patients. Materials and Methods: T-PRF samples were collected from 21 healthy individuals and 21 patients diagnosed with Stage III Grade B periodontitis. Hematological study of the entire blood picture, mechanical qualities (tensile strength), and structural characteristics (predominant cell types and fibrin network) were assessed. Results: T-PRF's mechanical and structural properties differed between patients with and without periodontitis. Individuals with periodontitis had lower fibrin networks and T -PRF tensile strengths than those who were healthy. Conclusions: This study shows whether periodontitis influences the mechanical and structural properties of T -PRF, which could affect its efficacy in clinical applications. Understanding these differences is critical for maximising T -PRF's regenerative capabilities in periodontal treatment.
