There are conflicting reports in the literature about the compatibility of pregnancy in patients with PHT. Most of studies have adressed these problems in patients with cirrhosis. There is not much data regarding this issue in women with NCPH. Unlike cirrhotics, most of these patients with NCPH are of childbearing age. Therefore, knowing the effect of PHT on the pregnancy in these patients is very important. In this paper we presented a succesful pregnancy in a women with noncirrhotic portal hypertension and review the literature.
