Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of nursing students' fertility health knowledge levels on their awareness of healthy living. Methods: A descriptive study design was employed. The research was conducted with 453 students enrolled in the Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Gaziantep University during the 2023-2024 academic year. Data were collected using a Personal Information Form, the Fertility Health Knowledge Scale (FHKS), and the Healthy Life Awareness Scale (HLAS). Data analysis included Student's t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation, and regression analyses. Results: The students' mean total score on the FHKS was 109.29 +/- 13.30. Their mean total HLAS score was 55.17 +/- 10.05, with sub-dimension scores of 19.26 +/- 3.70 for change, 14.43 +/- 3.43 for socialization, 11.28 +/- 2.44 for responsibility, and 10.19 +/- 2.73 for nutrition. A weak but statistically significant positive correlation was found between total FHKS and HLAS scores (r = 0.389, p = 0.001). Fertility health knowledge levels explained 15% of the variance in healthy living awareness scores (F = 80.436; p = 0.001). Conclusion: Nursing students demonstrated high levels of fertility health knowledge and healthy living awareness. Furthermore, an increase in fertility health knowledge was associated with a corresponding increase in awareness of healthy living.
