This letter discusses the critical role of quinary prevention in digital health literacy, highlighting its importance in addressing misinformation and preventing harm from inappropriate clinical interventions. It references a study on digital health literacy regarding Hepatitis B information and emphasizes that future work should integrate quinary prevention to safeguard public health against misinformation and the consequences of inappropriate medical practices, especially in the post-pandemic era, by promoting access to verified and expert-supervised information sources.
