Şirvânî is a well-known Turkish scientist and physician from the first half of the 15th century. He probably lived in Bursa, western Anatolia. He was the most productive physician in preparing medical books in the Ottoman period of Turkish history. In this article, we present some sections related to pediatrics (i.e. bloody diarrhea, convulsions, abdominal and lumbar pain, cirrhosis and pestis) in Tuhfe-i Murâdî, which was offered to Sultan Murat II and is basically the medical uses of germ stones and aromatherapy.
